As SF Scope reported in an earlier article: Actor George Takei was making plans to marry his long time companion Brad Altman after CA lawmakers struck down legislation banning gay marriages. George and Brad made it legal the 14th of September at the Democracy Forum of the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony featured a Buddhist priest, Native American wedding bands, a Japanes Koto harp, a bagpipe procession, and two of Takei's Star Trek cast-mates: Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols served as best man and best lady.
