Google "Glass" Video

By now I would hope that most have already heard about Google's head mounted (glasses type of device / format) computer called - Google Glass. Glass is a wearable computer with a head-mounted display that is being developed by Google in the Project Glass research and development project, with the mission of producing a mass-market ubiquitous computer. By ubiquitous they are striving for a system that does not interfere with every day life, by being small and as thin as possible.

Here is a short video showing the Glass system in operation. They look really small and modern. Not likely to see them for sale any time soon, but looking at the early models, this may just be something to look forward to. One can only wonder at the price of such innovation.

Check out the video below.

For those that managed to get to try it in what I guess is a beta style test, they still charged them $1700 from what I heard. And there are all kinds of conspiracies already flying about this, and all kinds of privacy concerns as well. It's going to be a mess if it ever hits the shelves I bet.

so much for them being a tool for the masses. Did you ever see the anime series called Dennou Coil / A circle of children? You should, Glass is a spot on of how a society could really adopt a certain class of tech. Good or bad.
