That show should not have been canceled. I'm starving for good sci-fi.
Mallet
I guess I am not quite so far down that rabbit hole as you are. Was Sarah Connor a Terminator franchise in the truest sense? well, probably not but dull and boring? Well maybe it was hard to relate to Sarah or John, but I did enjoy watching Summer work. I know, one Summer does not a season make... Crusty C did make me laugh though. SyFy has never taken itself to seriously until the last few year and now its like a complete over reaction. But honestly Mallet the choice is Sarah or wrastlin? Does that make the choice easier?
Thanks for the note and the a-ok lol
Blizno!
yeah and it isn't getting any better! When AMC and that ilk are outbidding SyFy for it's bread and butter it really makes me wonder what SyFy's mission statement really is! When a station that is backed up by one of the most powerful networks can't field enough to make a legit offer on even mediocre sci-fi something is askew.
I am so upset with SYFY I keep looking for the GOOD stuff that was PROMISED with the ill advised name change, to begin on what used to be a much better SCIFI... all I see are wrestling and cooking shows and horror flics that should be on chiller... but very little true SCIFI... this channel has gone down hill since the change in its name and who ever made the changes should be stood up and FIRED. I would say shot but....BBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! SCIFI is dead... not worth watching much of what is on this badly put together channel anymore... I am/we are sorely disappointed with this "SYFY" channel and except for a show or two... and have gone on to better things.
Rosehippi!
Well said my friend WELL said. I had bad feelings when I first saw the name change. It gave me the impression that some sort of distancing was happening and that has proved to be just what has happened. Cookin shows, wrastlin, ghosties n horror. Science fiction may not be dead but syfy certainly is. I can remember the fanfare when animonday started....weeks of hype and some really interesting new programming as well. Absolutely nothing was said when all that originality stopped coming. And I don't even get the point! NBC is also in cahoots with HULU so why not put it there where they promised that the shows you missed or liked would be available when you wanted. Instead they park it on syfy and shoot their own broadcast experiment in the foot! It is like no one has a clue anymore about what is going on!
