Fox may renew Dollhouse

From SF Fy Portal Headlines and Airlock Alpha comes news that Fox is looking to shake up it's Friday schedule. It looks as though one show will be canceled and Dollhouse will be given another season in hopes that the show will find an audience.

Things may not be all that rosy for Terminator: The Sarah Connors Chronicles. The series has struggled badly through it's second season and is due to end it 22 episode run April 10th. The producers of the series, Warner Brothers Television, made some major concessions to Fox in an attempt to bolster support for the program. This, according to Airlock Alpha, may be a way to help it promote its upcoming "Terminator: Salvation,"(movie) which premieres May 21. Which leads one to wonder if there will be this much support AFTER Salvation's release.

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. "Dollhouse" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

That's a damn shame! I really liked when they went back to the future in episodes of SCC. There is so much more they could do with the show. Sorry but "Dollhouse" is lame.

Oh yeah, I am a fan of SCC for sure. Thats the weird thing about the plot, from our standpoint it is the future, but for the people that are here now, it is their past.... yep a kind of back to the future thing going on here. Dollhouse is suffering from hype backlash, conceptually is is an interesting idea that has been played out many times in science fiction. Right now I am reading Altered Carbon which is a variation on that theme. I have a feeling that the program has lost some of its forward momentum and direction.

Sorry but dollhouse just dosent have it for me the idea is not that origanal and they are not doing a good job at the run story on the other hand sarah connors is a great show and i would hate to see it go.Summer and Lena are so beauitful and talanted actress that make the show where on dollhouse i cant believe anyone on the show sci fi is great when you have beliveable stoy and cast but with doll house it looks like that they came up with the idea and started shotting on the same day.

You know if they had started filming the same day, it might explain things. But I have to disagree on small items. The plot may be tried and true but the execution is somewhat original. Up to this point we have seen "riders" or their ilk. Or "pretenders" but made to order is pretty fresh. I know we have seen the "oddman" or "Manchurian" but this handling is a bit of a twist. Maybe I am grasping at straws and hoping that its just that people "don't get it" and it is quality ... but you know it might be time to take off the rose glasses
