People Believe That This is Evidence of What?!!!!

Or  space theories you won't believe other people believe!

Oh yes.  Like Bone On Mars!

The above photo, taken by the Martian rover Curiosity, appears to contain a thigh bone.

An interview with a man claiming to be a former Lockheed Martin scientist surfaced after the man's death. In it are details about  Area 51 and interactions with aliens, including photos like the one above. The interview, incredibly, claims that  aliens currently work for the US government.

Snopes.com has declared the video a hoax, pointing out that the alien figure shown looks an awful lot like a toy on sale at Walmart.

A UFO blog picked out what looks a little bit like a sideways sideways art on a rock from a photo captured by the Curiosity rover. The blog suggested that it looks an awful lot like some inscriptions on columns from ancient Egypt.

Want to send conspiracy theorists into orbit? Send an unmanned space plane into orbit for two years and keep its mission classified. Theories about what the X-37B did  was looking for aliens, commandeering abandoned alien bases on other planets or flying around communicating with extraterrestrials.

Malaysia Airlines conspiracy theorists claimed that radar readings showed a UFO interfered with the missing airliner flight, while others suggested it might have been swallowed by a black hole

When Philae "landed" on a comet, an anonymous "ESA whistle-blower" sent around an email claiming the comet was actually anything but and that the Rosetta mission was all about making contact with extraterrestrials, perhaps by a rendezvous at this secret spacecraft/base posing as a big rock

Moon Creating Impactor May Still Be Around?!

Huh? Are they serious?! The planet that ripped Earth a new one so bad that the leftover orbits us every 29 days or so, may still be hiding out to finish the job?! That's what I said when I read this in a Dvice article. It would seem that:

  • the rogue planet was not actually destroyed in the impact, and we don't know where it went.

This according to new models. But the odds of this happening are very very low and truth be told that the best time for this to have happened would have been 4.5 billion years ago. Now the truly astute among us are saying, hey wait, that was when it hit us the first time and you would be right! The odds have steadily dropped since that first cataclysmic impact.

The worrisome part of all this speculation is that, studying the competition of the Earth and the Moon seems to indicate that very little of impactor's mass was exchanged and it may have continued on it's orbit with little loss of mass.

Well, like this article suggest though is that it is a "bit" on the fringe, and a fair piece from the standard model. Lots more evidence will have to come to light before it looses it's "crackpot" status....but still...something does not add up and remember it's what you DON'T know that will git ya!

Were There Black Holes Before the Big Bang?

I have long held the opinion that space and time are flip sides of the same coin space/ and time are both held in equilibrium by the density of mass or mass/density. They are all facets of the same thing. Mass curves space. All of the mass, curves all the space back on to itself, meaning all the space encompasses all the mass. This structure then has to include all of time as "space/time". But more importantly the higher the mass density, the slower the time passes - with the inverse also true.

So what the hell am I getting at? Well the way I understand space/time/mass is that there can not be anything "outside" or "before" because all the mass contains all the space/time. In other works there is no "space" and no "time" outside the curve of space time because all the mass has curved it back onto itself. A mobius of space / time if you will.

So when cosmologists from Canada's Dalhousie University and Queen Mary University in London, theorized that some primordial black holes might have existed before the big bang, having been created in the Big Crunch. Which puts the Universe on a cyclic time line. Meaning that the Big Bang was not a single event, but one that occurs over and over again as the Universe crunches down to a single point, then expands again.

Well this is rather inconvenient. I grew up thinking that the universe was either expanding or contracting and would do so forever. Then the dark time when the Universe showed an ever increasing expansion that would continue forever slowly cooling and darking the Universe leaving a dark emptiness.

Now it would seem that a expansion/compression Universe in a possibility again. And more, that structures can exist outside of the big crunch / bang. (my head hurts)

Now cosmologists theorize that black holes of a certain mass could avoid the crush of the big crunch and survive as separate entities. The masses of these black holes would have to be small, with the upper limit being equal to the mass of our sun.

From the article:
  • The theory is based on  the Earth, and the rest of the known Universe occasionally (being) bombarded with unexplained bursts of gamma rays -- something that could, (possibly) be the result of primordial black holes running out of energy and disintegrating.  (some scientists are calling this effect evaporation of the singularity, which should result in massive bursts of gamma radiation.  ed)
The "primordial" black holes are fundamentally different from black holes that were created later.  Regular black holes today are created by the collapse / supernova of super-massive stars.   The primordial black holes were possibly created by the crunch of the universe.   One problem is that post big bang also created primordial black holes.

From the article:
  • A key problem they agree on is that it would likely be impossible to tell the difference between pre- and post Big Bang primordial black holes.

5 Time Travel Theories That Could Still Be Possible

From Device is this list of still "possible" time travel theories that might be possible. What do you think?

1. The Einstein-Rosen Bridge
  • From the movie Contact, Eleanor Arroway is whisked through long conduits that bridge the enormous distances between points in space, to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, we find that this is a VERY popular ftl theory.
  • Traveling through these conduits, you're essentially traveling forward in time at a rate which would be the ratio between the length of the wormhole and the actual distance in real space.
2. Travel by Self Hypnosis
  • If particles such as photons exhibit wave like tendencies, and — according to quantum theory — those patterns can be interfered with by particles in another quantum universe — could brain waves, as well?
(all aboard the starship B.S. editor)

3. Traveling through "Quantum Foam"
  • Technology would convert a person down to a quantum data stream and then projects them to a specific, calculated target through quantum universes in holes in what is called "quantum foam" (which) is the theoretical, irregular arrangement of quantum disturbances at the subatomic level.
(volunteers to be blasted to the sub-atomic level please.....editor)

4. Particles and Waves
  • Theory has it that particles such as photons exhibit wave-particle duality in which all particles exhibit wave-like properties and vice-verse at the quantum level. Based on this theory, radio waves, at the quantum level, could theoretically interfere with the quantum reality of another universe......

5. Travel by TARDIS (or and now for some complete b.s.)
  • Inside the Doctor Who universe: All Galifreyan time capsules draw energy from the Eye of Harmony, which is the harnessed energy of an exploding star. The Eye, can be described as existing both on Galifrey and at the heart of each time capsule. This tremendous energy moves the TARDIS through the "Time Vortex,"

I think until someone calls B.S. on this one I guess it's theoretically possible.

Satellite could see shadow of extra dimensions

One of the most intriguing problems facing astroscientists today is the existence of extra dimensions outside of the commonly accepted 3. Size, makeup and age of the universe could be much more accurately assessed with this knowledge.

A satellite to be launched next year could see signs of extra dimensions in the afterglow of the big bang.

Dr. Saunders, who submitted this article, states: "While it wouldn't provide absolute proof of higher dimensions, if successful, it could at least give researchers interested in these dimensions some data indicative of whether their theories have any substance and hence provide a jump-off point for further research. "

The article contains some very compelling theories and images.
