    Does something like this spell doom for the "live" actors? At the same time I am remembering that as we discuss this, the Japanese have a mega pop start who is an anime character (Meebles says it probably is a "Vocaloid")who is wildly popular!

    I think it will probably be too expensive for a long time, but who knows? Of course if it did doom "live" actors than a silver lining would be no more scandal tabloids.

    Dave, I would think that we could almost apply Moore's law here. We can almost bet that over the next few years the use of this high level cgi will more than double, there for you will have much more tech chasing a dwindling dollar supply. The price then has to fall. I think the only reason it is still fairly espensive is being ahead of the curve.
