50 Years of Space Garbage
The amount of space garbage is unbelievable! Check out this video of how space trash accumulated since the late 50s to 2000.
Anon Oh I would guess at least 1% is precious and another 10% copper and the like. But consider....the historic value of some of these items. How about the Agena target vehicle that almost killed Neal Armstrong? Are any of them S4b or even a S1b? And did any of the early spacewalk training material survive? That stuff would be a goldmine!
Just think how much of that is gold and platinum and other valuable material. what i would give for a garbage collector/hauler.
