Actually, Batman Beyond is an entirely american venture done with DC comics.
I originally thought that it was japan as well that did it, but it wasn't. It was actually Warner Brothers that did that series. I was surprised too when I found that out.
And that is where I know "The Jokers" from. They may have showed up elsewhere as well, I'm just not aware of it, yet.kallamishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387052990728026975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31959155.post-16111827439769473782012-08-28T14:01:01.289-05:002012-08-28T14:01:01.289-05:00Yep, well you know I have been an anime fan for ye...Yep, well you know I have been an anime fan for years. You know, I always sort of prefer anime to live action. I can't place where I heard this but the Joker in one of his more sane moments says "you need me" "I complete you" and think about it...would Harlequin every go for Keith's Joker really? Now I am basing this on the animated series which showed their complex relationship, Beam Me Uphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16507215843874160767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31959155.post-61800799988799165732012-08-28T12:11:53.363-05:002012-08-28T12:11:53.363-05:00That was my point as well there. One of the things... That was my point as well there. One of the things I am always saying, was that he had no fun. The joker, in every rendition has always had a lot of fun, at everyone elses expense. It just seemed to me that he was kind of dead pan, and had no real sense of humor. They could have kept him dark, and still kept that warped psychotic humour. Without that, he just isn't the joker to me. kallamishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387052990728026975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31959155.post-47324984441001975992012-08-28T11:53:13.415-05:002012-08-28T11:53:13.415-05:00Ledger was an interesting person no doubt. Earlier Jokers were almost a yin yang to Bruce Wayne's alter ego. I have to say I liked Keith's character, but I really never bought into him as the Joker. That's why I liked this so well. This was funnier than the entire script put together he had for Ledger's Joker.
I'm sure I'm in for it for that one.kallamishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387052990728026975noreply@blogger.com
